Leichter Panzerspähwagen (fu) (Sd.Kfz.223) Ausf.A, 3.Serie – Launch Event

On Saturday, 22 June 2024, we will shine a spotlight on our completed Sd.Kfz.223 project. Members will have the opportunity to see the only working Sd.Kfz.223 in the world.

Prepare for a full day of activities that will include, the display of the fully fitted-out interior of the Leichter Panzerspähwagen (Fu) (Sd.Kfz.223) Ausf.A, 3.Serie. Much anticipated lectures will be delivered by Weald Foundation’s Founder and Director, Mike Gibb; Trustee and Panzer Tracts Author, Hilary Louis Doyle; and a special guest. Witness this radio vehicle in action being supported by our Leichter Panzerspähwagen (2cm) (Sd.Kfz.222) Ausf.A – 4.Serie.

The Foundation’s goal is to provide accurate historical education for Members and the public about these historic vehicles and the dedicated restoration process, highlighting the unique challenges during the restoration and discussing the development and operational use of these rare vehicles during World War II. Attendees will have the opportunity to ride on some of the Foundation’s vehicles on the day.
