Acceptance of policies and registration conditions
The following Weald Foundation Registration Terms & Conditions (the “Terms & Conditions”) apply to all Weald Foundation events. Prior to your registration, you must acknowledge and accept the Terms & Conditions contained herein. Should you not wish to accept the Terms & Conditions you should not register.
Submission of a registration is regarded as an affirmation of your acceptance of the Event Terms & Conditions. Ensure you read this document carefully.
Ticket Purchase, Refund, and Transfer Policy
- Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please ensure you choose the correct event, date, and ticket type as they cannot be exchanged, refunded, or resold. Unauthorized transfers may void the ticket.
- Purchase tickets exclusively through our official website. Report unauthorized sales from other platforms.
Event Admission and Requirements
- Ticket purchase does not guarantee entry:
- A valid Membership is required at the date of the event.
- Admission may be subject to age, dress code, and valid ID.
- Weald Foundation reserves the right to refuse admission or request departure for safety or conduct reasons, such as aggressive behaviour or the influence of substances.
- It is the ticket holder’s responsibility to comply with all such requirements to gain admission to the event.
Event Changes and Communication
- Weald Foundation may alter event details (speakers, content, timing, venue). Efforts will be made to inform attendees of changes.
- Attendees are responsible for checking updates or changes prior to the event.
Privacy and Data Usage
- Weald Foundation is committed to data privacy. Email addresses provided during registration will be used for event-related communication and by event partners.
- Personal data is used for administering participation, including event content, logistics, payment, and updates.
Non-Discrimination and Event Conduct
- Discrimination, harassment, bullying, or any inappropriate behaviour is prohibited. The Weald Foundation promotes a safe, productive, and welcoming environment.
Liability Waiver and Safety
- Attendees assume all risks associated with event participation. Weald Foundation is not liable for any loss, injury, or theft, except in cases of gross negligence.
Media Usage and Restrictions
- Photography, video recording, or any other form of audiovisual capture is allowed solely for personal use unless expressly authorized in writing by the event organizers.
- Unauthorized or commercial use of any captured media is prohibited.
- The organizers may restrict media capture in specific areas of the event, such as vehicle interiors or lectures. They also reserve the right to enforce these restrictions.
- Professional cameras, recording equipment, or other items deemed inappropriate may be confiscated. Violators might be asked to leave the event without a refund.
- By attending the event, ticket holders consent to be photographed, filmed, or recorded for promotional purposes. The event organizers retain the right to use such media materials for marketing, publicity, or any other lawful purposes without further consent or compensation.
Badge Scanning and Third-Party Information Sharing
- Sharing personal information with event co-sponsors, exhibitors, or third parties is optional. Review their privacy policies before sharing.
