The Weald Foundation is a registered charity dedicated to rescuing, restoring, and preserving rare military vehicles from both World Wars – and to educating the public about their history. We receive no UK government funding. Everything we do is made possible by the generosity of our members and supporters.
We invite you to become a member and join us in this important work.
As a member, you will have access to our exclusive Inside Track publication series – research articles written from primary sources, covering the history, provenance, and restoration of our vehicles in a level of detail you will not find anywhere else. You will also have access to all of our events, where you can see the vehicles up close, explore their interiors, and watch them run if conditions permit.
Your membership directly supports our work to:
- Continue our research, restoration, and conservation of First and Second World War military vehicles
- Educate the public by interpreting original documents and producing literature on the history of the vehicles and their equipment
- Record each restoration in film and photographs for posterity
- Promote and encourage the study and methods of historic vehicle restoration
These vehicles are rare. Many were on the verge of being lost forever before the Foundation intervened. Without the support of our members, that work cannot continue. By joining, you become part of the team keeping this history alive – not just for today, but for generations to come.
