Giving it a Spin

We ran the first test of the original Renault FT turret ring (the lower part of the turret) using ball bearings. This was to see how smooth the turn was and it was decided that the original race will have to be skimmed to give a smoother action.

Good news this week that we have located the correct rev counter for our MIAG StuG III. These are very rare.

Work has started on disassembling the hull of the TSF. This will be completed next week ready for sandblasting and priming.

A sheet of Bakelite specially ordered from India arrived. This will be used to make the dipstick for the Renault FT.
