Sd.Kfz.261 5.Serie, Sd.Kfz.222 4.Serie, Sd.Kfz.223 3.Serie, Sd.Kfz.223 4.Serie, Renault FT, Pak 43

Original suppression Entstoerung plug caps for the Sd.Kfz.261 5 Serie have arrived this week. We still require more of these long caps but we have time to find them before this project commences. The full distributor suppression lead set required is depicted in the attached black and white image.

We have conducted further extensive research on the Renault FT.

The semaphore/winker for the Sd.Kfz.223 3 Serie has now been finally resolved and the results have been published in this week’s Inside Track. The Foundation has now secured sets for both the Sd.Kfz.223 3 Serie and Sd.Kfz.223 4 Serie.

The initial solution offered convoy by German forces in WWII (pre Notek) has also been covered in this week’s edition of Inside Track .

The rebuilding of the Sd.Kfz.222 4 Serie Horch 3.5 litre V8 engine is continuing. The new annealed copper head gaskets arrived today and will be fitted next week.

A critical component of the Pak 43 limber / bogey arrived this week. This is a complicated device which will provide us with the ability to create an authentic copy if we are unable to secure a second example. Very exciting. This will be written up in Inside Track shortly.
