Sd.Kfz 222 4.Serie, Jagdpanther 411, Black Sea StuG III

Conservation work continues on the Sd.Kfz.222 4.Serie. The final large Querlenker wishbone is almost complete. 3 hubs and back plates are next on the list.

An engine stand has been built in preparation for the maiden run of the 3.5 litre V8 Sd.Kfz.222 4.Serie. Testing of the ignition coils took place today. 2 have been put aside for use next week when the engine starts for the first time in many years. Piping has being sourced for the cooling system for the maiden run next week. Work continues on the air intake manifold. Thumbs crossed we will see the back of this drawing effort next week.

The Research Department unearthed the original paint identity of the cylinder heads for the 3.5 litre engine this week. The results have been written up this week and published in our online magazine Inside Track.

Jagdpanther 411 and the Black Sea StuG was readied for a visit by James Holland and Al Murray this week. This has been postponed due to the inclement weather we have been experiencing here in Kent.
