This week saw the delivery of the chassis that had been chemically cleaned. There is a lot of work to be done on it now that we can see exactly how bad the corrosion has impacted the chassis. More research is being conducted into the provenance of the chassis. We are getting closer to the truth each week. For more on the subject read Inside Track articles on the subject.

The other development this week is on the Maybach NL38 engine we are conserving. The original colour of the block and ancillaries have been recorded. The engine will be re-clad in its original paint finish when it is reassembled.
